50’s Architecture Revisited

A trip back to 1956, a time when lush greens and browns have made it to the core of Austrian politics and into the Austrian Parliament.

The Nationalrat (national assembly) of Austrian Parliament was designed by architects Max Fellerer and Eugen Wörle and opened in 1956. It has been closed for refurbishment in 2017. These photos were taken on the last possible tour of the house, before it all got torn down.
